Our Story

Ihandiro Vocational Secondary School is a government-aided, community-founded secondary school established in 2001 to make education accessible and affordable to learners in Ihandiro Subcounty and the surrounding rural communities.

The school offers both O-Level and A-Level education, with day and boarding options and hostels for both girls and boys. It combines academic learning with vocational and practical skills to prepare learners for higher education, employment and self-reliance.

Situated in a quiet environment at the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, the school provides electricity, piped water and a serene setting that supports concentration, discipline and personal growth.
